Situation

Background Information
After suffering severe losses during their defense across the country, Bundeswehr forces are finally redeploying to the Rosche region in order to assist in spear heading a large attack and breaking through the Soviet front line stalemate in the south.

Supporting Assets
Friendly forces further north will simultaneously be coordinating their own attack on the Soviet front.

Enemy Forces
Due to the long stalemate in the south, Soviet forces are well supplied, garrisoned and dug-in, however they are not anticipating our rapid and firm breakthrough. Frontline forces will likely comprise of entrenched infantry and MBTs, later supported by air assets and QRF.


Mission

Tasking
OBJECTIVE A: Assault and destroy the enemy supply depot at the Mehre farmyard. OBJECTIVE B: Assault and destroy the enemy garrison within Mehre. OBJECTIVE C: Assault and capture the enemy FOB to the south-east of Mehre. OBJECTIVE D: Assault and capture the enemy AA FOB to the south-west of Mehre. OBJECTIVE E: Flank and assault the town of Lehmke to capture the enemy HQ and destroy any remaining assets.

End-state
All objectives complete and friendly forces holding firm at Lehmke.


Execution

Commander's Intent
The purpose of the mission is to punch into occupied enemy territory, advancing our frontline past the river. End state is the Capture of objective A through D.

Tasks and Sequencing
ALL CALLSIGNS wil form a convoy in the following order: BEAR 1,BEAR 9, CYCLOPS 4, FOX 4-1 and BADGER 2. When applicable, after a objective has been cleared, CYCLOPS 4 will set charges on enemy assets. Objective A EASY 1 & EASY 2 platoon will insert via CYCLOPS 4s FUCHS's through the fence line and breach at Dismount - A. Objective B EASY platoon will ASSAULT objective B through the treeline as marked, EASY 1 will take point, after clearing out the first compounds they will cross the road and clear the northern part of the objective. Objective C From objective B, EASY 1 & 2 will ATTACK in a line formation south following the treeline towards objective C. After the objective has been secured, EASY platoon will mount up. Objective D From Dismount - B, EASY 1 & 2 will ASSAULT in a line formation towards objective D through the treeline. After the objective is secured, EASY platoon will mount up. Objective E From Dismount - C, EASY 1 and EASY 2 will move as marked through the treeline, EASY 1 to split of first to AP - 1 and focus on the northern part of the objective after the western part of of the objective has been secured. EASY 2 will follow the treeline to AP - 2 and focus on the southern part of the objective when the western side of the objective has been secured.


Administration/Logistics

Resupply
Emergency resupply and LOGPAKs will be coordinated through EASY 8 and delivered by GROUND by CYCLOPS 4. LOGPAKs will be planned when required.

Medical
- Medical support will be conducted in field (PAK in Field) The primary means of MEDEVAC is by GROUND conducted by FOX 4-1 and requested via EASY 9 .

Rules of Engagement
CPERS should be turned over to EASY 9 for evacuation to the rear.
