Situation

Background Information
Airborne Rangers move to re-secure the towns of Amir and Benamir before moving to capture the IS Stronghold overlooking Superior valley.

Enemy Forces
Enemy stronghold in the mountains with a confirmed lookout post. Large garrison of infantry expected. IS have reoccupied the towns of Benamir and Amir but have not rebuilt their defences fully

Tasking
Romeo platoon is tasked with recapturing Amir and Benamir before moving to assault the IS stronghold

End-state
Amir and Benamir liberated and secured IS Stronghold captured

Execution

Commander's Intent
The main focus for this operation is the capture of the southern portion of the Superior Valley and its surrounding towns Amir and Benamair

Tasks and Sequencing
PHASE 0 Romeo platoon will be inserted into the AO via BLACKBIRD 5-1 from KINDUF AIRBASE ROMEO 1 objective is to be dropped off at LZ ALPHA and to clear out the town of AMIR ROMEO 2 Objective is to be dropped off at LZ BRAVO and to clear out BENAMAIR The Unknown marked sectors are to be scouted out by BLACKBIRD 5-1 during the advance of both towns PHASE 1 Past Phase 1, ALL CALLSIGNS will be airlifted up further northwest closer to the IS Stronghold with ROMEO 1 airlifted up to LZ CHARLIE for an assault into the stronghold whilst ROMEO 2 is airlifted up to LZ DELTA to clear out an IS camp/lookout and then afterwards setting up a BOF just southwest of the Stronghold looking in.
