Situation

Background Information
BAF forces patrol east to secure the main access road into the area through mountainous terrain. This route will support access to the town of Mandol, one of the main population centers in the region, known to be heavily in support of the Taliban.

Execution

Commander's Intent
Conduct a mechanised patrol east of the FOB, clearing Taliban presence from local population centres. This will be our first interaction with this area so hearts and minds is also a high priority.

Tasks and Sequencing
AO Map avalible in Map Tab ALL CALLSIGNS will mount up with VANGUARD 1 mounting TITAN 3 and VANGUARD 2 mounting TITAN 3-1. Convoy order will be TITAN 3, VANGUARD 9, OZONE 4 followed by TITAN 3-1. The convoy shall be coordinated via radio net 40. The patrol will continue in convoy, pausing for the infantry to investigate population centres. Default action on contact while in convoy will be to push through, clear the kill zone and then dismount infantry to deal with the insurgent activity. EOD is avalible if required in VANGUARD 9 TITAN callsigns are Coyote's

Administration/Logistics

Resupply
OZONE 4 should bring any required resupply, equipment to effect repair of TITAN callsigns if needed and humanitarian supplies to attempt hearts and minds with locals.

Medical
No medevac is possible but VANGUARD 9 shall have a medical command vic
