Situation

Background Information
Novodmitrovsk, the last major city in the region still under CDHZ control. After preventing a SCUD launch on the city, now comes the time to liberate it.

Friendly Forces
LIGHTNING Platoon with - 2x Stryker M1126 M2 - 1x M1240 MRAP - acts as back-up medical vehincle - 1x M977A4 repair truck - 1x M108A31P2 ressuply truck

Supporting Assets
The company CMT team is on standby if needed. Civilian population inside of Novodmitrovsk itself is not expected.

Enemy Forces
Chedaki mechanized Infantry. Rangers can expect the enemy to abandon the defense of parts of the city in favour of concentrating their forces to defend in strategic areas. The city has mostly hastly constructed fortifications thruout with some strong points mainly in hastly fortified apartments and the industrial area.

Clear and secure the city of Novodmitrovsk.

End-state
Novodmitrovsk secured, enemy forces routed towards the east or south.


Execution

Commander's Intent
Push east into Novodmitrovsk and secure the city

Tasks and Sequencing
LIGHTNING 1 and LIGHTNING 2 will mount TRIDENT callsigns and proceed to dismounts Alpha and Bravo respectively. From there it is expected that they will clear in the order: • For 1: Sectors A (north side), B (north side), D, E, F • For 2: Sectors A (south side), B (south side), C, G, H, I Once this has been completed ALL CALLSIGNS will: • For Both: Clear sectors J and K with 1 on the north side and 2 on the south side For visual ease on the below images a green line has been added to show 1's route and a blue line added to show 2's route - though these may change depending on operational needs. When clearing through the city only 'apartments, places you take contact and anywhere you suspect is being used by OPFOR' need to be cleared - we don't need to kick every door The stryker's of TRIDENT shall support LIGHTNING callsigns with TRIDENT 3 supporting LIGHTNING 1 and TRIDENT 3-1 supporting LIGHTNING 2 - this shall primarily take the form of transport and cover operations, keeping key roads covered to enable the infantry to focus on clearing. VENOM 4 shall provide logistical and if needed additional medical support, fixing vics and preparing resupplies LIGHTNING 9 has an embedded platoon medic and medical vic should additional medical support be required Should all objectives be completed early the town to the south is a stretch objective to be planned in field
