Situation
Background InformationAfter the recent success of the previous operations, the hostiles are still not concentrated in the AO, providing us a window of opportunity. It is essential to clear and further weaken the area for future planned operations.
Friendly Forces
BAKER 1" squad of infantry with the support of BAKER 1-3 - BTR-80A
Enemy Forces
Illyrian armed forces. 2 BMPs, 1 platoon by the border, QRF, and 2 man patrols, 1 platoon by the trench line
Mission
TaskingSecuring an escape route for civilians, finding and clearing the hidden FOB, clearing a trench line, securing the civilians.

Execution
Commander's IntentThe purpose of this operation is to affect civilian rescue in Mikhalevo and Karabatovo, nearby villages, and the major town Polshishkino in response to an escalation of OPFOR hostility towards noncombatants. To gain access to Polshishkino, Baker squad has also been tasked with eliminating a suspected FOB and a trench network that blockade the eastern approach. Significant civilian presence is expected throughout the duration of this operation. Positive Identification must be confirmed prior to all engagements
Tasks and Sequencing
PHASE 0: Preparation - ALL CALLSIGNS load all supplies required for operation in squad vehicle, BAKER 1-3. -- Any additional support needed with load bearing is to be communicated to BAKER 1. - MEDICAL PERSONNEL are to be prepared with PAKs. - The attached SUPPORT ENGINEER should be prepared for demolitions and vehicle field maintenance. - TEAM LEADERS and GRENADIER are to be prepared with 40mm smoke for screening several movements across open terrain. PHASE 1: INFIL - Preparing for civilian rescue in Karabatovo & Mikhalevo, BAKER 1-1 and BAKER 1-2 mount in squad vehicle, BAKER 1-3, and depart west towards Dismount Alpha.
PHASE 2: Civilian Extraction
- ALL CALLSIGNS first clear villages Karabatovo and Mikhalevo of OPFOR presence.
-- Dense civilian presence is expected, Positive ID is required for all engagements.
- Once OPFOR presence is eliminated, civilians will be extracted East towards Kozlovo via BAKER 1-3.
-- No extraction efforts will occur until AO security is achieved.
All civilians must be extracted prior to crossing PL-2
PHASE 3: Transit
- After civilians have been relocated to friendly lines, ALL CALLSIGNS mount in squad vehicle and depart West towards Dismount Bravo.
- Light patrol presence is expected in the transit AO.
Actions on contact: Push Through.
PHASE 4: FOB Elimination
- ALL CALLSIGNS recon AO for a suspected enemy FOB and eliminate all encountered OPFOR presence.
- Upon discovery, FOB garrison is to be eliminated.
- Attached SUPPORT ENGINEER ensures any OPFOR logistics assets that may be readily repurposed are destroyed.
PHASE 5: Trench Clearing
- BAKER 1-1 and BAKER 1-2 assault and clear entranced fortifications preventing access to Polshishkino via RP-A.
- BAKER 1-3 provides BOF for assault and ensures security against QRF from the North and West.
- Attached SUPPORT ENGINEER ensures any OPFOR logistics assets that may be readily repurposed are destroyed.
PHASE 6: Civilian Extraction
- ALL CALLSIGNS enter Polshishkino to extract civilians from the town and eliminate OPFOR resistance via RP-B.
- QRF in response to the previous engagements is likely from the surrounding hostile territory.
- As many civilians as is possible should be extracted prior to any efforts towards break contact.
Administration/Logistics
ResupplyExternal logistic support will be unavailable for the duration of this operation. ALL CALLSIGNS are to load all supplies required for the duration of the operation in the squad vehicle, BAKER 1-3.
Medical
Complete medical support will be conducted in field (PAK in Field on).
Rules of Engagement
All EPWs are to be communicated to BAKER 1 and prepared for extract towards secure territory.
