Situation

Background Information
The recent enemy retreat from camp Konjak exposed a gap in the defense line just north of Kulibino. "Wolfs" from 1st Platoon 1st INF Batt are tasked to take advantage of the gap and sieze the helicopter base near Polivanovo and to liberate the surounding villages. This together with the allready established troops from the "Thundereers" in the north will put the enemy troops in Krasnyeseltsy in a position where they can be strucked from two sides.

Friendly Forces
1st Platoon - B Coy - 1st Infantry Battalion with; 1x "Tigr" Platoon command vic 2x Transport HEMT Supported by; 1x Humwee ambo 1x HEMT - Logistical 2x Super Tucano CAS aircraft.

Supporting Assets
D Coy of the 2nd Mechanized with the help of artilery will hammer the defensive line.

Enemy Forces
- Mechanized Infantry with BTR/BMP support. - Unconfirmed presence of a tank platoon. - A squadron of helicopters in still in the airbase, inteligence is unsure if all are in operating order. Inteligence believes that the enemy inside Shalaevo has orders not to leave the town at all costs, however, some elemets in form of a QRF might be expected.

Mission

Tasking
Primary objective is to sieze the enemy helicopter base, secondary objectives are to liberate the surounding towns in the anticipation of the assault on Krasnyeselts.

End-state
Once the airbase is siezed, the element will be focused to defend it. D Coy of the 2nd Mechanized will relieve and take over the assault on Krasnyeselts.

Execution

Commander's Intent
The purpose of the mission is to capture the enemy makeshift airfield/helibase and gain a foothold west of Krasnyeseltsy to springboard future deployments. The end state of the mission is the capture all marked objectives (A through D) with the endex position at objective C.

Tasks and Sequencing
On startex WOLF platoon will mount up in HEMTTs driven by BEAR to the disembark location west of Sector 1, using the treecover to approach OBJ-A. Sector 1 Once WOLF platoon reaches the edge of the treeline WATCHMAN & REAPER get authorised by the FAC to engage the defence line north of OBJ-A. WOLF 1 & 2 will ASSAULT OBJ-A and clear their assigned sectors in blue(WOLF 2) and green(WOLF 1). Movement from the treeline to the first buildings will be done in a platoon column, WOLF 2 taking point. Sector 2 OBJ-B to be done in a similar fashion, WOLF 1 to take point on the platoon movement, marked in black, movement will be as marked as there is tree cover on the west side of the road down the the objective. Once inside the objective, sectors marked in blue(WOLF 2) and green(WOLF 1) again. Sector 3 Will be done based on ground & air recon, on dividing the sector per squad. Sector 4 Will be divided as marked per squad, assuming we assault from the north. Sector 5 No contact expected, to be decided in the field if it's required to be cleared.

Administration/Logistics

Resupply
Emergency resupply and LOGPAKs will be coordinated through WOLF 8 and delivered by GROUND by BEAR 4. There will be dedicated LOGPAK breaks after each objective when required.

Medical
The primary means of MEDEVAC is by GROUND conducted by BLACKSMITH 4-1 and requested via WOLF 8. - Medical support will be conducted using supporting elements (PAK off Field).

Rules of Engagement
CPERS should be turned over to WOLF 9 for evacuation to the rear.

Fire Support Plan

Close Air Support
CAS will be provided by WATCHMAN & REAPER callsigns and authorised by the FAC in accordance with SOP. Both callsign will also provide CAP from enemy air trying to lift off from objective C.
