--- OPERATIONS ORDER ---

Situation

Background Information
KING Coy, following the establishment of FOB Baker by WARLOCK Coy, initiates Operation Midnight Spear to counter an expected ADF counterattack targeting the FOB. Anticipating a robust enemy force with air and armoured capability from the Zuevo defence line, KING will conduct a night-time false flag operation targeting two industrial sites to lure ADF into a pre-arranged ambush, exploiting night cover and terrain. End-state
- Defense Line under BLUFOR Control - Zuevo and neighbouring compounds liberated

Execution

Commander's Intent
The purpose of this mission is to prematurely attack staging ADF forces on a defence line between Edissiya and Zuevo. 10 hours before an expected attack on FOB Baker, using our night-fighting advantage we will lure out ADF forces from their dug in positions using a false flag attack with a partial mobilisation of our forces. Leaving our main fire support and close air support lying in wait, once alerted we will conduct a large ambush on the defending forces before pushing through the defence line to carve out a path for future operations.

Tasks and Sequencing
ALL CALLSIGNS will move weapons red to an overwatch position to the north of the ADF defence line. Meanwhile CHECKMATE stages off the north coast ready for CAS operations. CASTLE manoeuvres it's UAVs into position to begin locating enemy position updates and potential CAS targets. BISHOP 1 and KING 1 will move undetected to the substation and industrial storage area respectively while KING 2, BISHOP 2 and CASTLE overwatch from the northern forest clearing. BISHOP 1 will breach and clear the substation, detaining any non-combatants in order to gain control of the facility while KING 1 will go firm in the industrial facility to cover potential in routes. Above: Substation as seen yesterday BISHOP 1 will cut the power at the substation, which we expect to trigger an enemy response due to their tapping into the grid for their checkpoints within the defence line. Above: Industrial facility as seen yesterday Once compromised KING 1 and BISHOP 1 will continue firm drawing out enemy forces from the defence line while KING 2 and BISHOP 2 provide direct fire support onto advancing ADF forces, supported by CASTLE UAV and CAS provided by CHECKMATE 5-1 and CHECKMATE 5-2 who will, under the guidance of CASTLE 8 conduct danger close air support, specifically on mechanised, entrenched and armoured units. Once sufficiently softened up, KING and BISHOP will press south to clear any remaining parts of the ADF positions which cannot be dealt with by CAS under the guidance of UAV. Meanwhile CHECKMATE will switch to a CAP role. Due to the high chance of high resistance and ADF QRF we do not anticipate a further advance than Phase Line 2 depending on the success of the ambush and subsequent fighting.
