Situation
Background InformationTime to open up a new front the British are ready to Gain a foothold in the south. The airport and a support locations are a target.
Friendly Forces
British combine company consisting of : Company commander 1x UAV (reaper) 1x Platoon with 2x Infantry squads 1x Special Force squad 1x Logistical element C-130 to insert ROOK 2 Special Force team

Mission

Commander's IntentSecure a new south western beachhead from which to launch further operations
Tasks and Sequencing
ALL CALLSIGNS STARTEX at LHD to the south east of the AO
In general the concept is to sweep the AO with objectives in order:
Ruined Castle Base -> Military Airfield -> Garrisoned Town
ROOK will insert via HALO (flown by CROSSROAD H) (minimum aircraft height 2km to evade AA) to LZ Dragon
BISHOP and KNIGHT will insert via seabourne transport (2x LCU) either LZ Unicorn or LZ Hydra situationally dependent. (Hydra by default, Unicorn if under fire)
Once boots on the ground ROOK will move to the following taskings:
AA - Alpha -> Scout Airfield -> AA - Bravo -> Ambush
Where the aim is to explosively disable the AA, gather information to inform the main assault on the airfield and lay a prepared ambush sequenced to intercept any QRF moving to support the castle base when it is assaulted by BISHOP and KNIGHT
BISHOP and KNIGHT will move south from their landing site to OP1 and then move to assault and clear the Ruined Castle Base
Phase 2
Once the Ruined Castle Base is secure a planned logpack will be undertaken by CASTLE (if required). Taskings to assault airfield will be decided based on the scouting undertaken by ROOK however by default this will be sweeping SouthEast -> North West.
ROOK will either support this assault or move to the Garrisoned Town as the situation dictates. We have intel that there is a command officer in the town with potentially usable intelligence with him/in his brain so ROOK will be in charge of retrieving both of these (brain ideally still functional unless intel is how to retrieve intel from non-functional brain, in which case we shall file a patent and retire rich) - HVT intel to be provided upon in game brief
