Situation

Background Information
THIS OP WILL TRIAL 8-man SECTIONS. Command wants us to force the stalemate around the western front. Earlier today, commando teams have inserted into the Sukhoy Freight Harbor. We are to follow them in. Artillery will pound the defensive lines and hopefully soften them up for us.

Enemy Forces
Armor, AA, Seaborne support, entrenched lines. Enemy is expected to hold at all costs and engage from a distance. Speed, Power, Aggression is the key to victory.

Execution

Commander's Intent
The purpose of this mission is to capture and hold the Sukhoy Freight Port, in tandem with an SF team, who is currently softening defenses.

Tasks and Sequencing
PHASE 0: Preparation - Squad Leaders Ensure adequate resupply in integrated squad vehicles to sustain operations until FRP-B. - ALL CALLSIGNS Form convoy at RP-A. -- Convoy order: -- TITAN 1 -- BAKER 1 -- BAKER 9 -- BAKER 2 -- BAKER 3 --(Anvil 4-1). PHASE 1: Insertion - ALL CALLSIGNS Move to defensive lines via RP-A. -- Convoy break towards assault vectors at RP-B. - Actions on early contact: Push Through. PHASE 2: Defensive Lines - BAKER 1 & TITAN 1 form northern base of fire, fixing enemy and denying anticipated QRF. - BAKER 2 & BAKER 3 provide mutual support while assaulting defensive lines from the east. -- Upon taking contact on the flank, BAKER 2 & BAKER 3 maneuver together. PHASE 3: Outposts - BAKER 3 & TITAN 1 establish base of fire overwatching compound maneuvers. - BAKER 1 & BAKER 2 provide mutual support while assaulting defensive lines from the west. -- Upon taking contact on the flank, BAKER 1 & BAKER 2 maneuver together. - ALL CALLSIGNS resupply, repair and refuel at FRP-B. PHASE 4: Movement to Port - ALL CALLSIGNS Establish convoy at RP-C. - ALL CALLSIGNS Push into assigned sectors of port. -- TITAN 1 supports BAKER 2 with establishing an eastern foothold. - Actions on early contact: Push Through. PHASE 5: Port Assault - BAKER 1 clears along marked Alpha sectors. - BAKER 3 clears along marked Charlie sectors. - BAKER 2 & TITAN 1 are assigned Bravo sectors. -- BAKER 2 is assigned establishing an Eastern foothold, preventing enemy maneuvers from the eastern half of the port, and maintaining a pathway for logistics into and out of the port. PHASE 6: Final Leg - Leveraging BAKER 2 & TITAN 1's established positions, ALL CALLSIGNS form a line in preparation for crossing Phase Line - Charlie. -- BAKER 1 clears western cargo containers and cranes. -- BAKER 2 clears eastern cargo containers and cranes. -- BAKER 3 clears central buildings. -- TITAN 1 supports as required. - ENDEX in port.

Administration/Logistics

Resupply
- Squad resupply will be loaded into integrated vehicles. This load will sustain operations until FRP-B. Any need for pre-emptive resupply should be communicated to BAKER 8. - Vehicle rearm, repair and refuel will be conducted through Anvil 4-1, as organized by Baker 8. - In the event of a vehicle detonation, replacement will be conducted by Anvil 4-1, coordinated by BAKER 8. - Anvil 4-1 will also be prepared with AA launchers to provide defense against any peripheral air threats. - Anvil 4-1 Will also be prepared with demolition charges for enemy vehicle, AT emplacement, and equipment disposal. Logistics Tasking Priorities - Vehicle repair, rearm, and refuel - Requested emergency resupply - Vehicle replacement - Demolitions - (AA functions as dictated by threat level)

Medical
- Platoon Medic will remain on standby for casualty care as coordinated through BAKER 8. - (PAK in field ON)

Fire Support Plan
Artillery support is available to assist with initial strikes on defenses as coordinated through BAKER 9.
