--- OPERATIONS ORDER ---
Situation
Background InformationAs part of the second wave of the island assault, OUTLAW has been tasked with securing and holding the newly established beachhead on Napf Island, ensuring no enemy forces break through the frontline. Our mission is to maintain a fluid defense, holding the line until relief forces arrive, with a focus on containing enemy mechanised and infantry forces in the area. We have UH-60 airframes directly supporting our position, and additional fire support and logistical aid are available. Our priority is to reinforce the existing line rather than a major advance, with precise CAS and logistical support to maintain forward positions effectively.
Airframes: 2xMH-60S Knighthawk 1xUH-60M MEDEVAC
Friendly Forces
OUTLAW Air Assault Platoon with assigned 2xMH-60S Knighthawk Supported by WHIPLASH 5-3 Army MERT and KNIGHT Logistical Team
Supporting Assets
TRIDENT 3 Motorised Platoon is retreating from the current frontline. Other TRIDENT are operating within the flanks of the AO to complete their objectives. SHIELD Air Defence section is deployed at Rorenpass to provide close air defense.
Enemy Forces
The enemy is expected to mainly use Light or Mechanised Infantry. Supported by some Armoured assets. Thanks to the swift assault from TRIDENT 3 Armoured assets are still mustering in the Northern bases, we expect them to consolidate before they move to the frontline.
Mission
TaskingOUTLAW Platoon is tasked with holding the current ground, defeating enemy counter attacks and taking new positions as opportunities arise. - PRIMARY OBJECTIVE: Hold Sector E, do not give ground to enemy forces. - SECONDARY OBJECTIVE: Expand held ground to further sectors. - SECONDARY OBJECTIVE: Locate key intelligence on enemy positions or movement, from liberated enemy camps or positions.
End-state
Mission is complete once the enemy has exhausted their resources or TRIDENT 3 finishes their reorganisation and takes over frontline cover. Allowing enemies to push past our defences and destroy SHIELD section will be considered a mission failure.
Execution
Commander's IntentThe purpose of this mission is to relieve TRIDENT callsigns from the frontline in SECTOR-E, Rorighof Valley while they rest up and re-arm and hold onto gained ground until more forces arrive. Entering to SECTOR-E and utilising the valley and forest terrain to our advantage, hold back counter attacks and where possible, gain further advances. I would like to particularly focus on exploiting the gap in enemy air coverage, to allow our UH-60 airframes to burn as much of the enemy mechanised forces as possible, to make further operations easier. Finally, any and all intelligence that can be gained must be given top priority. For this reason, enemy camps or garrisons, including staging positions, must not be dealt with in any way which could destroy possible intelligence gathering.
