--- OPERATIONS ORDER ---
Situation
Background InformationIDAP is calling us for help in heavy lift. We are to coordinate with IDAP, civilian contacts and the aircrew to deliver and setup equipment key to research on de-pollution effort. A Chinook crew is tasked to RANGER to provide airlift for the equipment. They are to follow the civilian air traffic control when operating within the airfield airspace. This is a Peacekeeping mission, contact is not expected. Players are expected to actively engage with civilians to gather information and provide assistance.
Friendly Forces
RANGER Platoon is deployed at FOB Nauzad. Assisted by a Medical Detachment and Engineering detachment. RANGER 3 is deployed with an attached Forward Air Controller Assigned 4x Hunter M-ATV PARKER Aircrew Assigned CH-47I Chinook
Supporting Assets
We are supported by a NATO detachment deployed at Landay Airfield IDAP's Base of operation is also situated at Landay Airfield. Civilian ATC is managing the controlled airspace above and around the airfield. Local Military is operating within FOB Obeh
Enemy Forces
Some groups of have turned to stealing supplies from IDAP camps and convoys as well as civilians. Reports of racketing, kidnapping and armed violence have been increasing. We are to intervene and descale if we encounter such situations.
Mission
TaskingMove to the designated points to establish areas for equipment delivery. Await deliveries by aircrew and help setup the equipment.
Execution
Commander's IntentMy intent is to provide a secure and save Landing zone for the equipment while keeping the local populace safe.
Tasks and Sequencing
PHASE 0 All callsigns wil be ready for verbal brief at RP- O 10 min after start EX After verbal brief PARKER 5 will get in their chinook and Communicate with FAC for them to dust off and move to airfield Airport wil have a Civilian ATC this means ATC wil not transfer towards FAC . Please reference the Plan ops for further instructions. RANGER 3 RANGER 3-1 RANGER 3-2 Will each mount up in a unarmed M-ATV. Convoy Formation wil be RANGER 3-2, RANGER 3, RANGER 3-1 RANGER 3 FAC Will communicate on LR 80 With PARKER 5 When outside the Airport controle zone. Landing zone marking wil be done in green. PHASE 1 Convoy wil follow Black route towards Water sampling - Package A & B Where we dismount and get in contact with local IDAP to secure a LZ. RANGER 3-1 Will do a patrol around the area talking with locals, After equipment has been dropped of Combat engineer should prepare the packages and set up camp RANGER 3-2 Will secure the LZ until the helicopter has dropped both packages. After cleared with local IDAP personnel with completion of the Water sampling camp all teams wil mount up in convoy order PHASE 2 Convoy will follow Yellow route towards Water sampling - Package C Where we will dismount and get in contact wil local IDAP to secure LZ and area RANGER 3-1 Will secure and hold the LZ Once package has been delivered the combat engineer should setup the Camp RANGER 3-2 Will patrol around the area talking with locals After cleared with local IDAP personnel with completion of the Water sampling camp all teams wil mount up in convoy order PHASE 3 Convoy will follow Yellow route And then Orange route south towards Soil sampling Package D & E Where we will dismount and after confirming with local IDAP personal to get a LZ for the equipment Extra note This is the Origin location of contamination. No special equipment is required in this area. But advisement is not to eat any thing that has fallen on the ground. No 5 second rule as wel. The locals are hit the hardest here keep their hardship in mind. Both Teams wil provide security around the LZ and combat engineer wil deal with equipment and set it up camp After completion of Soil Sampling camp all elements will get into their vehicle and form convoy back toward our Barracks
