--- OPERATIONS ORDER ---
Situation
Background InformationFleeing insurgents have left a few remote villages without supplies as they flee east away from our advances. Heavy lifting helicopters are out on other tasking but the Afgan government has requested BAF help out however we can. Forces in a nearby FOB are tasked with convoying up the rough road that is the only route into the area due to soviet era minefields in the dried river valley.
Friendly Forces
1x Motorised Logistics Platoon 1x Artillery Battery Coyote and Jackal patrol vehicles
Enemy Forces
Insurgents with unconventional tactics including but not limited to: Guerilla warfare IEDs & VBIEDs Ambush tactics Improvised weapons Use and knowledge of the terrain
Mission
TaskingTransport vital humanitarian supplies to villages that have been ransacked by the Taliban
End-state
Supported the local villages and prevented food shortages.
Execution
Commander's IntentMy intent for is to form a convoy and transport the good too the local villages while protecting British lives
Tasks and Sequencing
PHASE 0 All callsigns will require to be ready at 10 min past start EX time and formed up on RP - 0 For last min update on briefing. After briefing all elements wil form up in convoy Convoy order wil be: WARLOCK 2-1 Jackal WARLOCK 1-1 Red WARLOCK 7 WARLOCK 2 Coyote WARLOCK 1 WARLOCK 1-1 Green WARLOCK 1-2 Blue WARLOCK 2-2 Coyote Logistics WARLOCK 9 WARLOCK 8 WARLOCK 6 WARLOCK 2-3 WARLOCK 1-2 Yellow PHASE 1 We will move down to the East towards WP 1 and follow the route towards WP 4 infantry wil dismount at DM -1 and proceed to secure and talk to the locals to asses if they need support and if there is any intel from the last enemy location. PHASE 2 Once the first Town has been passed we wil move depending on the area and intel towards WP 8 Direct plan wil depend on the intel
Administration/Logistics
ResupplyWARLOCK 6 Wil use the Coyote Logistics incase of vehicle rearm or repair. Resupply can be put in to each vehicle by the infantry
Medical
- Medical support will be conducted in field (PAK in Field)
