Situation
Background InformationIt is time to push towards the enemy's last line of defense. A US Marine Corps Platoon is continuing the push West along the norther coastline. If successful, the Akaryan Forces will be stretched thin defending the last remaining supply route to the northern airport. Expected Level of Combat : ☆☆☆ Expected Level of RP: ☆ Expected Difficulty: ☆☆ Three-star rating: ☆ little to none expected ☆☆ decent amount expected ☆☆☆ Heavy emphasis / main focus of Operation
Friendly Forces
BEAR US Marine Corps Infantry Platoon is moving to the front after acting as rearguard since the start of the operation.
Supporting Assets
Infantry and Armoured elements will be continuing their operations in the forest to our South East. BAKER Recon Section may be active in the ridge line south of our position. We only have limited contact due to their restricted transmission control.
Enemy Forces
Enemy is composed of Infantry with Mechanized support (BTR and BMP). Enemy air capability is limited due to only one airfield remaining in their control. The enemy is known to establish camps and caches throughout the island along with heavier fortifications in key terrains. Due to the proximity of the enemy airfield, the enemy may use helicopters. Leaders are to ensure all are familiar with the reaction to rotary air attack. Additional intel about enemy positions and their capabilities will be covered once information gathered by BAKER Recon Section has been processed.
Mission
TaskingThe aim of the operation is to continue gaining control over the are north of the center ridge line. The platoon is tasked with moving into the forest to ensure a thorough clear of any potential enemy camps as well as evacuation of any civilian encountered.
End-state
The limit of advance for the platoon is set at the town of Seredinskiy. Once full night is set, the Platoon is to hold the advance through the forest and form a defensive line.
Execution
Commander's IntentMy intent is to overwhelm the enemy with efficient coordinated attacks using flanking and quick reaction
