--- OPERATIONS ORDER ---
Situation
Background InformationUK Forces are restarting their offensive after the repairs completed on the captured airfield has secured a supply route. Expected Level of Combat : ☆☆☆ Expected Level of RP: ☆ Expected Difficulty: ☆☆ Three-star rating: ☆ little to none expected ☆☆ decent amount expected ☆☆☆ Heavy emphasis / main focus of Operation
Friendly Forces
ABLE Mechanised Platoon will be operating as the spearhead into contact. Each Squad is assigned two FV150 Warriors (identified as ABLE X-3 for the White crew and ABLE X-4 for the Red crew) for transport and direct fire support, LONGBOW 3 Fire support team will be attached to the platoon and provide direct support under the directions of ABLE 6. Assigned one FV432 Bulldog to serve as in field transport and ammo storage. GEORGE 4 Logistics Support Team with FV432 Bulldog and other support vehicles will be in general support of the elements.
Supporting Assets
The remainder of KING COY will hold the current frontlines, launching raid attacks to fix any forces near th current frontline. Follow on forces will secure the MSRs after each keypoint is cleared, though limited personnel does not allow them to expand into the rear flanks outside the MSRs.
Enemy Forces
Enemy is composed of Infantry with Mechanized support (BTR and BMP). Enemy air capability is limited due to only one airfield remaining in their control. The enemy is known to establish camps and caches throughout the island along with heavier fortifications in key terrains. Due to the proximity of the enemy airfield, the enemy may use helicopters. Leaders are to ensure all are familiar with the reaction to rotary air attack.
Mission
TaskingABLE is tasked with reaching Peredovoi Castle where reports of weapons testing happening in that location. To access the location, the Platoon will have to clear through the Pervomaiskii and Peredovoi industrial complexes.
End-state
ALL CALLSIGNS are to regroup at the Peredovoi Industrial complex once the Castle has been taken and any asset or information has been extracted from the location. If the Platoon is unable to reach the Castle by their own mean, they are to establish a fallback position and await further orders.
Execution
Commander's IntentThe intent for this mission is for ABLE platoon to have secured the Peredovoi Castle, along with all intelligence and confirmation on what weapons they have been testing.
Tasks and Sequencing
Phase 1: a) Starting at Startex ABLE platoon are to move via Route Golf dismounting at DP A. b) Once dismounted, ABLE 1 & ABLE 2 will move along there relative routes. Clearing any potential camps and emplacements. Meanwhile LONGBOW 3 will setup and commence shelling of Pervomaiskii Industry to soften it up before the main infantry assault. c) Once ABLE 1 and ABLE 2 reach there respective Holdpoints LONGBOW 3 will fire one last salvo before the infantry push in. d)ABLE 1 will begin the assault on the industrial compound, assaulting into Sector Alpha. ABLE 2 will cover there initial entry before moving in themselves to take Sector Bravo. e) Once the objective is secure, ALL ABLE CALLSIGNS are to form a defensive line to the north east, ensuring we fend off any potential counter attacks. Meanwhile GEORGE 4 will resupply all forces in the area in preparation to move towards the next objective.
Phase 2:
a) ABLE Will mount up and move across Phase Line 1 and follow Route Club towards the Peredovoi Industry.
b) Once ABLE reaches DP C, ABLE will dismount and follow there respective routes to the objective. Meanwhile LONGBOW 3 will be tasked to carry out a rolling barrage on the complex. Softening up any targets and fortified positions within.
c) ABLE 1 & ABLE 2 will breach the complex simultaneously while shells from LONGBOW 3 are landing on the northern side of the complex. ABLE 1 & ABLE 2 are to clear sectors in parallel to ensure mutual support.
d) Once all sectors are clear and the area secure. ALL ABLE CALLSIGNS are to set up a defensive position on the North Eastern side of the complex to ensure we can fend off any potential counter attacks. At this point GEORGE 4 Will resupply all forces in the area in preparation for Phase 3.
Phase 3:
a) ABLE 1 Will mount up and move across Phase Line 2 and follow there respective route towards the Peredovoi Castle. Meanwhile ABLE 2 Will move to assault a likely occupied compound just to the North East before continuing onto the castle to support ABLE 1 in there assault.
b) Whilst ABLE move to assault Peredovoi Castle, LONGBOW 3 will be tasked to shell the forest and externally of the main entrance, softening up any potential emplacements. They are Not to shell the interior of the castle due to suspected weapon testing and the little amount of intelligence we have surrounding this.
c) While ABLE 1 & ABLE 2 assault the castle. ABLE 1-3 & ABLE 2-3 will be responsible for holding the roads to the East & West ensuring no enemy forces flank the main infantry force.
d) Once the Peredovoi Castle is secure, GEORGE 4 will bring in a full resupply and support ALL CALLSIGNS where required.
Phase 4: (Stretch Objective)
