Situation

Background Information
With their British cousins still vastly outnumbered and outgunned on mainland Ritmo, and their sister Delta platoon damaged and stagnant during their amphibious assualt of the large South-Western island, USMC mechanised infantry Echo platoon intend to conduct an explosive counterattack on PLA defenses. Exploiting an exposed but dangerously narrow flank, Echo platoon seek to capture a PLA airbase and the densely urban town of Rontus, in order to establish a new head of operations on Ritmo and begin to deter or destroy further Chinese involvement on the island nation... Commander's Intent
PRIMARY OBJECTIVES: - Defend the town of Arapovo from enemy assault. - Counterattack enemy positions towards the south-eastern airfield. - Destroy blockades, naval defenses and air defenses en-route. - Capture and hold the south-eastern enemy airfield. SECONDARY OBJECTIVES: - Destroy enemy munitions and supports en-route. - Capture any relevant intelligence on enemy positions or strategies. - Capture any enemy POWs where able.

Tasks and Sequencing
(OBJ) EARTH: - ECHO to move and defend southern bridge flanks before assaulting and clearing defenses across the river. - Hammer to move and defend southern bridge main crossing before assaulting and clearing defenses across the river and holding WP-1 - Lima to hold and standby for potential repairs before moving across the river when safe. (OBJ) MARS: - Echo and hammer to assault and destroy enemy inland and coastal defenses or blockades. - Hammer to hold WP-2. (OBJ) NEPTUNE: - Echo and hammer to assault and destroy enemy inland and coastal defenses or blockades. - Echo 1 to assault WP-4 and destroy potential enemy AAA or artillery. - Echo 9 and Hammer to hold WP-3. (OBJ) PLUTO: - Echo to dismount and assault enemy entrenched urban positions and destroy blockades. - Hammer to defend main roads eastwards. - all units to hold WP-6. (OBJ) Saturn: - Echo 1, Hammer 1 and Hammer 2 to amphibious assault WP-7. - Echo 9 and Lima 4 to clear bridge crossing at WP-6. - Hammer 9 to cross bridge crossing at WP-6.
