--- OPERATIONS ORDER ---

Situation

Background Information
The enemy is controlling the other side of the river and still able to use the MSR to reinforce the northern flank. Take over the region's towns and we can cut off their supplies.

Five-Star Rating System

Combat Intensity: ☆☆☆☆ Roleplay Emphasis:Difficulty: ☆☆☆

Friendly Forces
ROUGHNECK Infantry Assault Platoon, Part of BUNKER Company, spearheading the assault into SLA defences. ROMEO 4 Combat Medical Team, attached from Company HQ to support the assault, responsible for immediate treatment and CASEVAC

Supporting Assets
HAMMER Battery supporting the overall assault with shelling of enemy fortifications. Remainder of BUNKER Company will follow on the assault to secure the rear-area and allow ROUGHNECK to focus on the frontal assault.

Enemy Forces
SLA Forces have entrenched their position across the river, with machine gun nests and bunkers with interlocking fire. The MSR has been a key to their success in the area and they are prepared to hold it until the last man. SLA uses a mix of Russian sourced and domestic equipment, we are expecting vehicle reinforcements once they deem the attack a serious threat.

Mission

Tasking
ROUGHNECK is tasked to overwhelm the enemy forces and breach through the enemy defences. Moving to a position to control the MSR and block any enemy movement along it.

End-state
ROUGHNECK has secured the MSR or established a beachhead into the enemy fortifications, allowing for follow on forces to continue the assault.

Execution

Commander's Intent
My intent is to Push quickly towards the enemy and get in to close contact of them and punch a hole in there defenses so we can get towards the MSR and logi can still reach us with resupply.

Tasks and Sequencing
PHASE 0 All elements will form up 5 min after start ex fully ready to receive last min brief and step off. Depending on numbers we either will use Truck route 1 BRM route 1 or 2 Leaders and RTO please read the command and signal bit for explaining Communication plan. using the RTO's Due to the enemy entrenched position LAT and MAT are cleared to use their weapons on buildings and fortification There are no civilians in the area they have fled long ago. PHASE 1 Once decide which route we take We will get as close as we get to the enemy and punch a hole in there defense Once a beach head is established we will start to clear out the immediate surroundings and make the beachhead secure. Depending on numbers the intent is to use 1 squad is direction to clear From there we will coordinate in field where our next target will be depending on which squad is combat effective. PHASE 2 Once the first defense line has been taken and at least 66% of the GCE is combat effective we will push towards the second line using bounding overwatch per squad and have a BOF from the other. until there is a new beach head secure Fan out to widen it and clear until we get eyes and control of the MSR PHASE 3 Hold down the MSR the best we can until the enemy response has stopped
