Situation

Background Information
Having cleared up the remaining major CSAT resistance within Chernarus, the newly deployed US Army forces are beginning to prepare for the push into Beketov. The 96th Armored Brigade is deploying a Bradley mechanized unit to the Peregon border crossing in the north, which is a crucial crossing point for supplies and armored vehicles. This border crossing is expected to be highly defended as it is a crucial choke point and Beketov's last foothold in Chernarus.

Further US Army forces are in the AO preparing for the invasion and will be supporting with logistics and air defense.

Enemy Forces
The Peregon border crossing was captured by a CSAT armored column, so there is a high chance of MBT threat as well as other armored vehicles due to the land crossing. The CSAT garrison is expected to be dug in and prepared for an assault with access to resupply and reinforcement via land, air, and sea. Throughout the invasion, rotary-wing and drones have been a common threat.

Mission

Tasking
Retake the Peregon border crossing and hold it against counter-attack to ensure land access to Beketov for the invasion. This includes preventing structural damage to the bridge.

End-state
Having secured the border crossing, the unit will fortify and defend the Chernarussian side until it can be used to support the invasion. Should this be impossible, they will conduct a fighting retreat to delay and deter enemy incursion.

Execution

Commander's Intent
Retake the railway yard and prevent the enemy force from recrossing the bridge.

Tasks and Sequencing
ANGEL 1 and ARCHER 2 will move along route crumble and dismount at DP Banana. ARCHER 2 will follow the green route and set up at BoF Sticky Toffee while ANGEL 1 moves along the blue route to BoF Custard. Both elements will then engage the objective until it is safe enough for the infantry to cross under the cover of the bradley. ANGEL 1 will cross while ARCHER 2 provides BoF. Both elements will then move into the objective and begin clearing. Once the objective is clear, both elements will set up defensive positions and repel any counter attack coming from accross the bridge.
