Situation

Background Information
On July 10th 2035, Takistan launched an all-out invasion into Ardistan. First few days, the Takistani army progressed without much resistance, but that changed in late July, when the defenders stopped the invaders at the Garvani river. Ardinistan asked Russia for help. On August 3rd President Makarov authorized the deployments of several battalions, including the 72nd Separate Special Purpose Battalion, 3 days later the mass armada steeped into Takistan, their objective is to find and either eliminate or capture top Takistan military officials, code named Змея (Snake). The Takistan supreme commander General Rashid Kareem Al-Nassar has been assigned Snake 0. WARNO Monday, August 6th 2035 Russia-Takistan Border Of the coast of Takistan, ладья ("Boat"/Rook) platoon is preparing for a naval invasion into the harbor city of Mantiq. Our fleet has positioned itself to blockade the entrance to the harbor and the landing forces will have full support of our navy and airforce for their landings. ладья mission is to capture the naval base and its HQ located in the southern part of the city, then once reinforcements land to hold the town, move eastwards to secure the eastern flank by securing the towns of Chaman and Tarchi. ладья should also be on the lookout for Змея-4, the Takistani Naval Commander, who should be in the HQ based on our latest intel reports. If the HVT is not located in the target compound, a spetznats group will be activated to track him down. --- At the same time as us, the following operations are underway: - Ground invasion is coming from the east, - Infiltration by епископ (Bishop) Platoon on the auxiliary airfield near Kushkak, - VDV Air Assault on the Rasman Airfield. --- NOTE: MISSION REQUIRES EITHER NORTHERN SAHARA CDLC OR ITS COMPAT DATA LOADED NOTE: FOR THE INFIL PART OF THE MISSION, THE IFV/APC TEAMS WILL BE UTILIZING BOATS, AND WILL SWITCH TO BTR-90s UPON DELIVERY BY LOGI ---
