Situation

Background Information
On July 10th 2035, Takistan launched an all-out invasion into Ardistan. First few days, the Takistani army progressed without much resistance, but that changed in late July, when the defenders stopped the invaders at the Garvani river. Ardinistan asked Russia for help. On August 3rd President Makarov authorized the deployments of several battalions, including the 72nd Separate Special Purpose Battalion, 3 days later the mass armada steeped into Takistan, their objective is to find and either eliminate or capture top Takistan military officials, code named Змея (Snake). The Takistan supreme commander General Rashid Kareem Al-Nassar has been assigned Snake 0. WARNO Monday, August 6th 2035 Russia-Takistan Border BISHOP platoon is outside the staging area just a few hundred meters from the Takistani border, waiting for a friendly inflation platoon to cross the border, before launching their assault. Objective is to capture the border town of Kushak, then move southwards towards towards Kavarak Airfield, siezing the village of Zavarak on their way. ASSETS - 1x T14B "Armata" - 3x BTR 100 - 2x Logistical support Trucks --- At the same time as us, the following operations are underway: - Ground invasion is coming from the east, - VDV assault on the Rasman Airfield - Naval invasion of the port town of Mantiq. --- NOTE: MISSION REQUIRES EITHER NORTHERN SAHARA CDLC OR ITS COMPAT DATA LOADED ---

Tasks and Sequencing
STAGING AREA: "All units are to equip themselves at their designated staging areas. They should not load extra supplies into their designated vehicles are we expect to be resupplied via logistics, however they are permitted to load emergency equipment. Briefing will be conducted before mounting assigned vehicles and moving out." [OBJ] Anya: "Infantry is to dismount at WP-3 in order to begin clearing sectors on foot. AP-1/2/3 follow three roads through the town and to be used at the discretion of the field leader. Armoured elements are expected to provide rolling defence down the three roads. Infantry should report any potential enemy supplies or assets to be destroyed by logistics. An enemy vehicle depot and FOB have also been previously observed by our own strike team."
