--- OPERATIONS ORDER ---

Situation

Background Information

UNITAF's successes in their counter-terrorist work against the Three Suns has led to recommendation that they be the primary element in dismantling the radical organisation. UNITAF teams will take lead for the rest of the counter-terrorism operations on Altis until the Three Suns are dealt with.

Intelligence secured in previous operations has led us to believe that one of the leaders of the Three Suns- codenamed 'Achilles'- will be staying at the location known as 'Ghost Hotel' later this week. The target building and those around are likely heavily garrisoned with Three Suns troops so the operation will need to be conducted quickly and as stealthily as possible. NATO command on the island believes UNITAF is more than qualified for such an operation.

Mission

Tasking

This operation is primarily a rapid snatch-and-run to capture Achilles and extract him. We need the HVT alive for interrogation, so UNITAF forces must stealthily insert to the Ghost Hotel AO, conduct as much of the operation under stealth as possible so as not to elicit QRF response and extract before overwhelming enemy force is brought to bear. Any intelligence that can be secured during the mission will help us in our future endeavours on the island.

NATO aircraft have recently been shot down around the North East sector of Altis and so helicopter insertion and extraction around Ghost Hotel will not be possible.

Primary Tasking

  • Secure codename 'Achilles' and return him to base for interrogation.
  • Locate and secure Three Suns intelligence only where it does not delay the first objective.

Rules of Engagement

The local garrison at Ghost Hotel will consist of some of the Three Suns' most loyal and heavily indoctrinated troops, so expect unconventional tactics and disregard for personal safety on their part.

Hostile QRFs are expected within 15-20 minutes of alert. Have a timer ready to estimate their arrival and do your best to be out of Ghost Hotel by this time.

The Three Suns leader 'Achilles' is shown in the attached image file. Study it carefully to ensure quick target recognition.
