--- OPERATIONS ORDER ---
Situation
Background InformationWhilst the British ambassador on Tanoa was enjoying the prestigious island resort on the Ille de Ravi-ta island, in the company of the Tanoan president, he together with vital staff and the Tanoan President himself, was taken captive by unknown armed men. The captors were quickly identified as members of a local cartel, whom worked closely with rebels to take-over key positions and the airfield in and around La Rochelle. British SAS are set out to rescue the captives on the resort island, whilst the embassy task force is set out to re-take the airfield and disable rebel AA positions.

Execution
Commander's IntentOur intent is to secure captured VIPs from local revolutionary forces by destroying local enemy AA assets and conducting aerial evacuation of the VIPs.
Tasks and Sequencing
The two VIPs we will be securing will be as follows: VIP KING: Isaac Julien, The Tanoan President. VIP ACE: Clarence Nightingale, The British Ambassador. We also have reports from the embassy office that important and potentially sensitive documents may be aboard the aircraft used by VIP ACE. The aircraft is described as a small white twin-engine fixed wing. Phase 1 Deploying from the embassy, Thunder will proceed along Route Papaya whilst Echo proceeds to and follows route banana. If able, ECHO 3 will proceed mounted past route banana Wp1 toward banana wp2, otherwise on foot. Their primary tasking will be to neutralize AA Cat, with stretch objective to clear Transmission Alpha (if occupied). THUNDER will follow route papaya to Dismounts Alpha and Bravo. We will attempt to push through contact along the route in order to prioritise the AA positions. At Dismount Alpha, THUNDER 1 will dismount and proceed to SEC FOX. At Dismount Bravo, THUNDER 2 will dismount and proceed to SEC GOLF. One squad will each clear their sector of Transmission Bravo, neutralizing any enemy defences and in particular AA position Dog. Once Transmission Bravo is secure, THUNDER will proceed to clear Transmission Alpha- if necessary, and if not already cleared by ECHO 3, should they have already cleared AA Cat. Phase 2 ECHO 3 will mount a helicopter and prep for HALO insertion over the Ravi-Ta Docks. Once on the ground, secure a boat in the docks if possible, and proceed to Ravi-Ta Resort to secure VIP KING. If entering contact at the docks, proceed straight to the resort before the enemy gets any ideas with the VIP. THUNDER proceeds to assault FOB Zebra. We will follow Route Blueberry through the port and up to Ovau. THUNDER 1 will break off at Blueberry Wp1 and if viable proceed to OP 69, recce and set up BOF if the position works, otherwise find a better position for BOF over FOB ZEBRA. THUNDER 2 moves with the intention to position for assault on FOB Zebra from the East or North-East, with Thunder 1 covering assault. To allow an organised assault, find a concealed approach to Zebra if possible then stage to assault with co-ordinated covering fire from Thunder 1. Phase 3 ECHO 3 uses commandeered transport to cross the water with VIP KINGback toward Ovau, landing to the East at WP Bear, then proceed to the Eastern end of the Aerodrome to force your way in and neutralize any enemy positions on the Eastern end of the airfield (Sec Kilo). We believe VIP ACE's aircraft may be contained within this section of the airfield, away from prying eyes at the terminal. Once Kilo is secured, Echo will go firm but may be called upon to assist the clearance of the airfield or to regroup the VIPs for transit. THUNDER will manoeuvre to assault the La Rochelle Aerodrome, focusing primarily on the Western and central sections (Sec India and Juliet respectively). We currently do not have much information on enemy positions and defences at the aerodrome, so the assault plan will be decided in-field. The primary intention of the assault is to neutralize enemy defensive positions and any AA emplacements we happen to come across, find VIP ACE and prepare both VIPs for exfil by helicopter. VIPs will be evacuated first, then helicopter exfil will arrive for the infantry platoon.
Administration/Logistics
ResupplyAll teams will proceed on mission with combat load and some extra supplies in vehicles. Platoon vehicle(s) will carry some extra crates for resupply if needed, co-ordinated by Thunder 7 and 6 along with vehicle repair/resupply.
