Operation Valiant Guardian (2020), Knight's Valor

Situation

Background Information
"Knights" from the 72nd Battalion are moving westwards towards Nalžovske Hory. With "B Company" being tasked to flush out enemy strong points in the forests, then to take and hold Hradešice. Whilst "A Company" is tasked to push past those cleared defences straight into Nalžovske Hory and the adjacent air station. If both operations are successful, Polje air station will be ours, enabling fixed wing support in the AO, aswell as we will link up with Karlovac County. NOTE: This mission should last about 120-150 minutes (after stepping off).

Tasking
Eliminate enemy entrenched positions between Camp Refošk and Hradešice, then liberate and defend Hradešice.

Commander's Intent
Clear AO and liberate Hradešice

Tasks and Sequencing
NOMAD shall mount PHOENIX callsigns (1 in 1, 2 in 2) and follow route to LZ Alpha. NOMAD will then move south to clear the prepared trenches while they are suppressed by PHOENIX at OP Zebra. Trenchline: Once the trenchline is clear NOMAD shall mount PHOENIX callsigns (1 in 1, 2 in 2) at LZ Bravo and follow route to LZ Charlie. Once at LZ Charlie, SKYLARK will flatten the 'MBT' and trench lines to the north of Hradešice to enable access for NOMAD. Town Defences: PHOENIX will then support NOMAD entering the town from OP Yak and then support as needed while the town is cleared (see marked sectors, 1 to west, 2 to east). At the southern end of Hradešice there is a military base which will be tasked in mission: Throughout SKYLARK shall engage QRF forces or other OPFOR assets outside of Hradešice and the initial trench system.
