- Attach AED
- Analyse rhythm
- If shock advised:
- Charge defibrillator
- Deliver shock
- If no shock advised:
- Perform CPR (per Basic Protocol)
- If shock advised:
- Reassess pulse:
- If no pulse:
- Re-analyse rhythm
- If shock required:
- Administer amiodarone
- Deliver shock
- If no shock advised:
- Continue CPR per Basic Protocol
- If no pulse:
- Reassess pulse:
- If no pulse:
- Re-analyse rhythm
- If shock required:
- Administer lidocaine
- Deliver shock
- If no pulse:
- Continue:
- Repeat rhythm analysis and intervention until no longer indicated
