INITIATE: Identify the requesting party and acknowledge the request.
Example:
1-0: "1-2, this is 1-0, send CASREP."
1-2: "1-0, this is 1-2, WAIT OUT."
- GATHER: Take 30 to 60 seconds to collect accurate information on casualties.
- REPORT: Deliver the CASREP using triage categories in the following order:
- Immediate: Life-threatening injuries requiring urgent care.
- Delayed: Serious but not life-threatening injuries.
- Minimal: Minor injuries requiring minimal care.
- KIA (Killed in Action): Number of deceased.

Example CASREP: 1-2: "1-0, this is 1-2. CASREP: 1 Immediate, 2 Delayed, 1 Minimal, 1 KIA"
REQUEST (if needed): Include a request for assistance if required.
Example: 1-2: “1-0, this is 1-2. CASREP: 1 Immediate, 2 Delayed, 1 Minimal, 1 KIA - request medical assistance.”
